HOW DO I BOOK A DATE?
The date is not officially reserved until a deposit is made at the time of booking. Initial deposits are non-refundable but will be deducted from the total costs of hair and makeup.
WHAT IF YOU ARE ALREADY BOOKED?
If I am already booked for the date, I would love to help put together a team of my stylists for you and your girls. If that is not an option, I have many stylists in the industry I would love to refer your way!
WHAT ARE THE STEPS TO SECURING MY WEDDING DATE?
A non-refundable retainer is required to secure your wedding date. This can be done by check, cash or credit card and is a non-refundable retainer.
WHAT IF I JUST WANT ONE SERVICE AS OPPOSED TO BOTH HAIR AND MAKEUP?
I give priority to clients looking to book both services; however I am happy to accommodate requests for single-service bridal parties for a minimum headcount.
WHAT IF I HAVE A BIG BRIDAL PARTY?
I have a team of stylists whom I train and work closely with to support a large bridal party. We have serviced up to 20 girls together in one day, and will customize the number of stylists I need to bring to glam up the whole group in an efficient manner!
WHAT IS YOUR MINIMUM NUMBER OF GIRLS TO STYLE A BRIDAL PARTY?
My minimum is 3 people for both hair and makeup, or 5 girls for just one service; this includes the bride. To bring stylists with me, there is a minimum of 4 girls per stylist per service.
WHO TAKES CARE OF THE BRIDE’S STYLING?
I personally service the top 2-3 “VIPs” – bride, mother, maid of honor; or whatever combo of 2-3 people you choose! I am the only stylist on my team who does both hair and makeup, so I will do full styling for those select bridal party members. From there, my team will take care of the rest of the bridal party.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE FOR HAIR AND MAKEUP?
The average service takes approximately 45 minutes. Most bridesmaids will take about 1.5 hours for full styling and the bride will take 1.5 to 2 hours for full styling.
WHAT BRANDS OF MAKEUP DO YOU USE?
My team and I only use the best-quality products for hair and makeup. Our kits include Temptu (airbrush foundation), MAC Cosmetics, Nars, Too Faced, Bobbi Brown, Anastasia Beverly Hills, etc.
DOES EVERYONE GET AIRBRUSH FOUNDATION?
We make airbrush makeup a standard service for our brides and their bridal parties. Airbrush lasts much longer than traditional foundation and photographs beautifully, so we let everyone have the most luxurious of makeup applications as our standard application. The only women who we prefer to not put airbrush on are those with “mature” skin.
DO YOU PROVIDE EXTENSIONS?
I absolutely love extensions and think they elevate all down styles. I am happy to purchase extensions for you and mount them in for the wedding-day. Extensions range in price from $100-250 and will match your hair color and we can trim them to the perfect length. Otherwise, I can guide you to where you and your bridal party can purchase them.
DO YOU PROVIDE EYELASHES?
Yes! We have almost a dozen different styles to choose from and will consult with each client to see what level of drama she desires before selecting the proper lash style.
WHAT IF I HAVE SPECIFIC ALLERGIES?
If you or any of your bridal party members have specific allergies, I would highly recommend bringing your own makeup to use and/or scheduling a trial in advance of the weeding to ensure there are no reactions.
AFTER THE INITIAL STYLING:
WHAT IF I AM DOING A FIRST LOOK?
If your photos are starting several hours before ceremony, I will finish hair and makeup for when your photographer is scheduled to arrive. This will ensure there is no delay in getting you into your dress and starting pictures! I will stick around as your photographer has you getting dressed to make sure your hair and makeup is perfect before leaving.
WHAT IF I WANT YOU TO STAY FOR TOUCH UPS?
Most of my clients like to keep me for touch ups to make certain that everything looks perfect during photos. Some clients even like to have me stay to do a hair/makeup change between ceremony and reception. Whatever you prefer to do, please reference my Touch Ups and Day Rates to see packages for additional hours after hair and makeup is complete.
WHAT IF I WANT TO CHANGE MY HAIR AND MAKEUP BEFORE THE RECEPTION?
If you choose to book touch-up packages, you can add on changing your hair or makeup between ceremony and reception. Hair or makeup changes will add 15-30 additional minutes to the touch-up timeline, so it is imperative you inform your photographer that you will be unavailable for that time frame.
